‘The One I Knew Before’ was originally performed by legendary Korean singer Sim Soo Bong at the 1978 MBC College Music Festival, marking the beginning of her remarkable career. (💡Fun fact : The host of the festival at the time was Lee Soo-man, who later became the founder of SM Entertainment!)

It's a song that blends a ballad melody with the rhythmic charm of swing jazz, but didn't win an award at the festival.
